This work was not listed in Lucas SITHOLE 1958-1979 - ISBN 0 620 03982 5 - p. 69 as publishers were not aware of it, not all files from Gallery 101 having come down their way or survived!

 

 

Note:

Bronze casts - only authorized casts were made by Gallery 101 in 1968, cast by Renzo Vignali Studios, Pretoria - none were embossed with cast number. The first owner of cast 2 confirmed in 2009 to auctioneers that there were to be 6 casts made, as told to them by Gallery 101 when they acquired their cast. No further details are known about the remaining authorized casts 5 or  6, or if they were ever cast by Gallery 101.

Two unauthorized casts were made in England by H.D. during 2007 from the original work illustrated at the top of this website!
